Wellington Regional Leadership Committee
A new regional partnership to enable better outcomes
The Wellington Regional Leadership Committee is a union of councils, iwi and central government in the Wellington-Wairarapa-Horowhenua region.
We’ve partnered together so that we can achieve better shared outcomes for our region…
working together to solve our regional challenges and extend our potential, building communities where we want to live and work.
The Committee is responsible for three key areas: The Regional Growth Framework (spatial planning), regional economic development and regional economic recovery.
The Committee exists to collectively focus our efforts, to embed joined-up, systems-level thinking across our region, for better shared outcomes.
