This project will explore opportunities that an improved or new connection between the west and east parts of the region would provide for transport (people and freight), resilience, movement within the region, housing and neighbourhoods, business areas and employment opportunities. It provides the opportunity to future proof the region with alternatives for public transport, housing and neighbourhoods, and resilience.
