10:30-12:00pm, Wednesday 28th August 2024
Presenter: Brad Crowley, Senior Manager – Buildings & Communities at the New Zealand Green Building Council.
In this webinar, Brad discusses the changes to the newly updated Green Star rating tool, it’s broader benefits not only for the environment but also communities, and it’s role in expanding the scope of building beyond just green aspects, including looking at supply chains (such as modern day slavery) and identifying and mitigating climate risks to buildings.
In this webinar Brad shares a wealth of knowledge and insights from over three decades working in the sustainable building sector. The presentation and discussion topics range from more detailed technical aspects of green building certification, to broader fiscal, social, and cultural observations. Brad closes his talk with several key take away action ideas, to support anyone to nudge the sector towards more sustainable homes and buildings.
