“Hello, my name is and I am a resident in Carterton. I am part of a public advisory group associated with local council and our group is called walking and wheels. Recently in a meeting it was discussed about the ongoing issue of having a pedestrian crossing Installed on state highway two at the north end of Carterton. There are bus stops either side of the road north of Kent Street and it would be in this area. What I was wondering as if Metlink can help us by providing passenger number statistics from those particular bus stops thank you. We are aware that they are are quite a number of services during the day including three with Tranzit buses alone which are usually very full of school students. This is a very busy piece of highway and pretty much all those people using those buses to go north or getting dropped off later on the day going south would have to cross that piece of road. It would be much appreciated if you could help me in this request or place me in contact with someone who could.”
