“Under the Official Information Act, I request the following information covering the previous 12 
months:
A copy of, or summary of, any policy, directive, contractual requirement, or operational 
guidance that sets out whether and how school bus services are prioritised within the Metlink 
network.
The contractual performance standards that apply to Route 685, including:
• Required on-time performance thresholds
• The permitted tolerance (in minutes) for late running
• Any minimum service delivery or maximum cancellation thresholds specified in the 
contract
Operational performance data for Route 685, including:
• On-time performance statistics
• Total cancellations (including short-notice cancellations)
• Total recorded service failures
• Total instances where live tracking was unavailable
• Total recorded safety incidents
• Total recorded operational incidents
• Total recorded complaints and calls to query the service

Information on monitoring and enforcement actions taken in relation to Route 685, including 
whether the operator has met contractual performance requirements and any remedial actions 
taken or planned.
Information relating to the use of passenger service alerts for Route 685, including:
• Any policy or operational guidance governing when alerts must or should be issued
• The total number of alerts issued for Route 685
• Whether there are performance or compliance expectations regarding alert use
Comparative performance data for all other Metlink school bus services departing Karori over 
the same 12-month period, using the same performance indicators listed above (where 
available).
