“Thank you for your response below and its attachments. I note reference to the draft status of 
the COP and that there is still some process to be gone through before resource consent 
matters pertaining to, inter alia, the Waimeha Stream have been finalised. I also note an 
apparent sea-change in approach between the time original documents were filed (starting 
around 2016) and the late reassessment of the status of triggers (late 2025 and not disclosed 
as having any particular significance until January 2026). Please advise:
1. Exactly what notification was given to persons having a particular interest in that change of 
approach as it might pertain to the Waimeha Stream, and when that notice was given?
2. If no such notification was given, where you say it was specifically identified on GWRC’s 
website, and when?
3. What consultation has been engaged in with persons or parties having an immediate interest 
in the outcome including, any projected impact on the adjacent dunes?
4. What consultation has been engaged in with any other persons?
5. What approaches or communications inviting consultation with persons or parties having 
an immediate interest in the outcome which have not resulted in consultation?
6. What further opportunities there are or will be made available for such consultation?
7. The present status of the process in terms of hearing/s (and before which body or authority)?
8. What opportunities there are or will be made available for making submissions to that body 
or authority?”
