Information Requested

“Can I please request, under the LGOIMA:
• A list of public transport service improvements, including but not limited to the following; 
increased frequency, expanded services, or additional electric buses, that were 
consulted on or considered as options since January 2021, but did not go ahead due to 
any of the following reasons; change of government priorities, less funding in the NLTP, 
declined funding from NLTP, or increased requirements for “public share” contributions.
• Please include:
• The total estimated cost of these public transport service expansions (with council share 
vs Waka Kotahi/Government share)
• Any m elling or data available on the amount of increased capacity, ridership, 
frequency of service that would have resulted from the expanded services
• Some high level detail on what area/s the public transport service expansions would 
have served
